construction
Two reasons I became
a coach. Both changed my life.
For 25 years I worked in construction — as a civil and geotechnical engineer, then as a project manager on some of Australia's most demanding commercial and infrastructure projects. I loved what I did. I was good at it.
But from the very beginning, I felt something else pulling at me. A deep urge to share what I was learning. Not just the technical knowledge — the lessons about how to lead, how to think, how to handle pressure, how to grow. Every project taught me something about people and about myself. I wanted to pass that on.
The second reason was more personal — and more painful.
Despite everything I had achieved — the career, the projects, building a life from scratch after moving to Australia in 2016 — I could not find peace. I was always chasing the next milestone. Always measuring my worth by what I had done, what I had built, what was next. Successful on paper. Restless inside.
25 years in construction
Civil engineer, geotechnical engineer, project manager — built a career across some of Australia's most complex projects.
Moved to Australia — February 2016
Started over in a new country. Built a professional life from the ground up. Successful — and quietly exhausted.
Found my own mindset coach
For the first time, I understood that happiness did not have to be linked to external achievement. That peace was something I could build — not earn.
Became a coach
My own coach encouraged me to pursue this path and share what I had found. Right Mind Foundation was born — to pass on this gift to others.
Working with my own mindset coach was the turning point. I discovered that happiness did not have to be tied to any external achievement. That I could extend the same growth mindset I used in my career to every part of my life — and finally feel at peace, not because of what I had done, but because of who I was choosing to be.
My coach encouraged me to share this gift. So I did. Right Mind Foundation is the result — built on 25 years of professional experience, a personal journey through the same struggle my clients face, and a genuine belief that the shift is possible for anyone willing to look inward.
